Seattle Trip

My boyfriend and I recently just moved and for some reason we thought it’d be fun to just drop everything and go on a road trip instead of unpacking and we were right, it was a lot of fun! 🙂

We decided to drive about five hours up to Seattle, WA and to visit some of their top attractions. We got a City-pass which bundles together their top things to do in the city at a discounted rate. We went to the Zoo, the Aquarium, the Chihuly glass museum and of course the Space Needle! The City-pass includes two visits to the top of the Needles. One during the day and one at night. We also went to the famous Gum Wall and the Pike Public Market where the first Starbucks is located at. We walked almost everywhere and really got a feel for the city. Thankfully our hotel was close to all the main attractions except the Zoo. We had a great time and I want to go back already! I have included some photos from our trip.

This was one of the many shots I got from the top of the Space Needle during the day. It was a bit cloudy but we could still see a lot.

We went back to the Needle at night. It was only a five-minute walk from our hotel. I loved getting shots of it from down below.

Here’s me trying to act calm on the glass floor I was standing on! They remodeled inside of the Space Needle and removed the restaurant. They replaced it with glass floors!

Post Alley is where the Gum Wall is. There was so much gum! There were so many awesome animals at the zoo. This lion was one of my favorites that we saw. Right next to the aquarium was this Ferris wheel. We didn’t go on it, but it was very cool.

Lastly, we went to the Pike Place Market. It was busy but it was so fun to see all the cute shops and restaurants.

I think we will visit Seattle again this next summer and also go into Canada. I can’t wait to go back!

Thanks so much for reading,
Lindsey
